Hello My name is Nur and I am a 35 year old woman from the UK. I have a degree in Applied Social Sciences and have spent many years mentoring and helping people in crisis and with day to day practicalities that all of us can get stuck on.
The aim of this site is to keep things simple, spark thought provoking conversations, have a little laugh and empower women through knowledge and discussion. Although I am here to help and support anyone that may need it, feel free to challenge me and make me laugh. I don’t take myself too seriously even if I may seem so at times.
In my blogs I will give examples of my life and those of the people I know and have worked with whilst trying to maintain confidentiality. The reason why I chose to give examples of real life is because life is personal and people are the ones that live experiences. However please don’t try and find out who the people are as getting stuck on the details only takes away from what I am actually trying to share with you.
Bear in mind that my blogs may be biased and you may not always like what you read and that’s ok but please don’t take it too personal because these are my opinions and I can only see things from my perspective so if I say something you don’t agree with, feel free to comment or DM me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
The blog posts will include social and current discussions, personal victories, tragedies and jokes, politics, economy, day to day practicalities, women’s issues, religion, fashion, beauty cooking, arts and crafts and any other interest that takes my fancy.
As it stands no content is sponsored and all opinions and links are added for the benefit of referencing and information sharing. There are no affiliate links or adverts and if there is ever to be one I will make it clear. If you are a business and would like me to feature you in my bog feel free to contact me. Should I like the product and/ethos of you business and it fits into one of my posts I will do so. I am always happy to support a sister.
This website and my blogs are a way for me to communicate with the world, start friendships and support networks that will empower women. This is not my full time job or my main priority, however I plan to post as often as I can.
Thank you for visiting my page and feel free to share my site with anyone you think may benefit and if you have any questions, queries, want to know more about a blog, references or have suggestions please get in touch. There is nothing I love more than sharing information, learning something new or seeing things from a different perspective.
